Behind the Plate
Kennedi Fair is a 16U catcher who runs the game from behind the dish — framing borderline pitches, blocking everything in the dirt, and keeping the defense a step ahead. She pairs that field generalship with a dependable, run-producing bat — plus the versatility to line up wherever the lineup needs her.
Coachable, durable, and vocal, she's focused on competing at the highest level and earning the chance to catch at the college level.
“Anchored behind the plate. Built to compete.”

I enjoy softball because I feel like I grew up on the field watching my older sister play. My mom also played softball in high school and both she and my dad played Co-ed together. Through my playing career with both high school and travel, besides the skills, I have learned to be coachable, stay focused, push myself to be better when I am not at my best, and to put in extra work outside of regular practices and games. I have also learned to network with other softball players and form relationships with college coaches in hopes of playing at the next level. Most of all, understanding that my education is just as important.
From the Coaches
Kennedi has grown tremendously over the past year as a hitter, showing the ability to drive balls on a low line with good ride/carry from gap to gap. She's starting to understand how to allow herself to pull the inside pitch correctly with power without fighting against herself. Kennedi is a raw, explosive, and powerful hitter that will continue to mature at the plate, while having potential to be a threat in the top to middle of the lineup as she continues her journey through her work. For the last 4 months she has increased her Max EV, raised her AVG EV, and ultimately raised her Hard Hit % each month. Her best days are still ahead of her and she will be a fun hitter to continue to watch.
